Beloit (0413)6/22 to 7/292918329,322,445192140Last year was the first summer that summer school data was stored in digital format on the Skyward student system. Last year summer school registrars did not know that summer school membership is calculated differently than Sept. 3rd Friday count, i.e.: counting scheduled minutes rather than dates enrolled. Last year registrars dropped schedules of students that they withdrew as they would during the year, making the calculation of minutes incorrectly low after summer school ended. This year they were reminded not to drop schedules after summer school ended, so that schedules could later be used to calculate total minutes attended, resulting in a more accurate, higher FTE.

Weyauwega-Fremont (6384)6/8 to 8/30514951,434,3463023There are several reasons for the increase. First and most significantly, we added a Drama course where the students studied to perform HS Musical. This was hugely popular with the students with over 45 participating over nine weeks. Secondly, we increased our credit recovery options for our high school students by adding several courses. Finally, we expanded our remedial strand of summer school for Grades K-8, ensuring student attainment of Grade level benchmarks from the previous school year to be eligible for promotion to the next grade.
